Time-Out & Cooling-Off Periods

Sometimes all you need is a short break. kxk8's time-out feature lets you temporarily suspend your account for a defined period without permanently closing it. This is ideal if you feel you are spending more time or money on gambling than you intended, or if you simply want to step away and clear your head without the temptation of logging back in.

During a time-out, your kxk8 account will be locked. You will not be able to log in, deposit funds, place bets, or access any real-money features. Any pending withdrawals will continue to be processed normally. You will not receive any promotional emails or bonus notifications during your time-out period.

Available time-out durations on kxk8 are:

• 24-Hour Time-Out — A one-day break that takes effect immediately upon request.
• 48-Hour Time-Out — A two-day cooling-off period for a more considered pause.
• 7-Day Time-Out — A full week away from the platform; useful if you are going through a stressful period and want to remove gambling as a distraction.
• 30-Day Time-Out — A month-long break. Note that if you need more than 30 days, kxk8 recommends transitioning to a formal self-exclusion (see Section 5).

Time-outs cannot be cancelled early once activated. If your time-out period expires and you feel you are not ready to return to gambling, you can immediately request a further time-out or upgrade to a self-exclusion at any time by contacting [email protected].

Self-Exclusion

Self-exclusion is the strongest player protection tool available on kxk8. When you request a self-exclusion, your kxk8 account is permanently closed for the duration of the exclusion period, and kxk8 will make every reasonable effort to prevent you from opening a new account during that time. Self-exclusion is the right choice if you feel that gambling has become a significant problem in your life, or if a time-out has not been sufficient to address your concerns.

kxk8 offers the following self-exclusion periods:

• 30 Days — A one-month exclusion for players who need a firm, longer-term break beyond what a time-out provides.
• 6 Months — A half-year exclusion; a common first choice for players experiencing moderate gambling-related difficulties.
• 1 Year — A twelve-month exclusion recommended for players whose gambling is causing noticeable financial or personal harm.
• Permanent / Indefinite — A lifelong exclusion with no automatic end date. This is the appropriate choice for players who feel they should never gamble again. A permanent exclusion can only be lifted after a minimum of 5 years have elapsed, following a formal review and a mandatory 7-day cooling-off period.

To request a self-exclusion, email [email protected] with the subject line "Self-Exclusion Request" and include your registered kxk8 username, your registered mobile number, and your chosen exclusion duration. kxk8 will process your self-exclusion request within one business day (Bangladesh Standard Time, UTC+6) and send you a confirmation email once your account has been closed.

kxk8 also strongly encourages self-excluding players to make use of third-party tools such as internet filtering software or mobile app blockers to prevent access to other gambling sites during the exclusion period. Self-exclusion from kxk8 alone does not prevent access to other gambling platforms.

Warning Signs of Problem Gambling

Problem gambling can develop gradually and is often difficult to recognise in oneself. The following behaviours are recognised warning signs that gambling may be becoming harmful. • Neglecting work, study, family responsibilities, or social relationships because of gambling.
• Feeling irritable, anxious, or depressed when you are not gambling, or when you try to reduce or stop.
• Using gambling as a way to escape from stress, anxiety, depression, or personal problems.
• Repeatedly failing to stick to spending limits or time limits you have set for yourself.
• Continuing to gamble even when winnings are consistently being lost, rather than withdrawn and enjoyed.
• Feeling that you need to gamble with ever-increasing amounts to get the same level of excitement.
